iPhone

The iPhone is an Internet-connected, multimedia Smartphone designed and marketed by Apple Inc. Because its minimal hardware interface lacks a physical keyboard, the multi-touch screen renders a virtual keyboard when necessary. The iPhone features an internal rechargeable battery.

Like an iPod but unlike most other cell phones, the battery is not user-replaceable.The iPhone can be charged when connected to a computer for syncing across the included USB to dock connector cable, similar to charging an iPod. All iPhone models include written documentation, and a dock connector to USB cable.

The original and iPhones also came with a cleaning cloth. The interface is based around the home screen, a graphical list of available applications. iPhone applications normally run one at a time, although most functionality is still available when making a call or listening to music.

The home screen can be accessed at any time by a hardware button below the screen, closing the open application in the process. The iPhone allows audio conferencing, call holding, call merging, caller ID, and integration with other cellular network features and iPhone functions.
