Reading Works

The Reading Works in Berks County, Pennsylvania, was a key player in manufacturing and delivering innovative integrated circuit and optoelectronic equipment for communication and computing in the United States and around the world. Where of non-English material are unavailable, Wikipedia editors may supply their own.

As a part of Western Electric and the Bell System, it changed it masthead many times during its life. The following is a chronology of how it all came about and where it went. Do not combine material from multiple sources to reach a conclusion not explicitly stated by any of the sources.
